Our Stories

Here you can read the stories of those we are honoring with our Memorial Park.

Mark

A beautiful Gazebo and bench were donated by the W.I.N.G.S. Foundation. This foundation was started by Craig and Cathy Miles and sister Kelly in honor of their son and brother Mark. Mark was a very kind and compassionate young man, who cared for everyone around him. He took his own life at the age of 18. Through this tremendous loss, Cathi, Craig, and Kelly wanted to carry on Mark's compassion and help other children to promote kindness. They help young people that are disadvantaged and help them reach their goals.

She was a very outgoing and happy girl-her smile and laughter will be forever missed. Because she loved riding her bike and wearing her princess helmet. her family donated a bike rack in her memory. Fly high sweet angel, may your beautiful red hair light up the heavens, just as you lit up the lives of so many.

A tree was planted in memory of Jonathan.

Ellery

Ellery was described as “a beautiful, happy, adventurous, high spirited little 2-year-old. Her nickname was ‘weebee’ because whenever she was in the car she would yell ‘weebee’ on for the TV.

She loved to twirl with Aubryn, her sister, dress up with Emilyn, her other sister and jump on the tramp with Brahm, her brother. She loved art, music, swinging, counting and everything ‘Frozen.’ Her first words were ‘let it go.’  She put a sparkle in her parents eyes and a love that will never be forgotten by her family and friends.”  Ellery loved butterflies, but called them "bubberflies".  Her memorial reflects the love for her bubberflies, and our love for her.  We will never forget you sweet baby girl.

Marshall & Adam

Marshall was born January 26, 2016, at the Hudson Hospital. His smiles and coos filled his parents with happiness, and big brother Noah loved kissing him on the head. Although his time on earth was very short, he brought sunshine into the lives of those who knew him.  Marshall died from SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) at the age of 2 months.   Little is known about SIDS, but we pray in our lifetime a preventative measure can save the lives of babies afflicted with it.  Marshall, you have a permanent spot at Angels Island and you will never, ever be forgotten.  We love you sweet Angel.

Addam Christopher Fisk, Marshall's daddy, age 25  passed away unexpectedly May 1, 2017 after an asthma attack.  We find comfort in knowing that father and son are reunited in God's heavenly realm.  Addam, you live on in our hearts and you will never be forgotten.
